About the Founder, Eileen Epps-Hamilton
Eileen Epps-Hamilton is the founder of In The Word Ministries. She has a passion for teaching the Word of God, and her personal mantra can be found in 2 Timothy 2:15: “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”
She is a native of Kansas City and a member of Historic Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church in Kansas City, Kansas, where she serves as a licensed evangelist. Within her local church, she teaches and serves in a variety of positions involved in the development of Christian Education programs, curriculum and special ministries.
Eileen has served on the A.M.E. Fifth District Christian Education Committee and taught as part of the Christian Educator’s certification program. Eileen’s teaching ministry extends to churches and women’s conferences both locally and nationally.
She has worked with a variety of faith-based organizations in the Kansas City community and has served on numerous boards of directors. Eileen’s commitment to “rightly dividing the Word of truth” includes completion of her second Master’s degree from Calvary Theological Seminary.
